HOW TO RECYCLE

READ PRODUCT LABELS

Before you recycle a product, check for labels that indicate if it can be recycled.

Plastic commonly has one of the labels to the right.

If unsure, visit our "What to Recycle" page for help!

REDUCE PRODUCTS THAT NEED TO BE RECYCLED

The best thing to do is to reduce the number of items you need to recycle. Reducing the amount of waste you create can be done by using fewer single-use items.

Reducing waste might look like using reusable bags instead of plastic bags, getting a reusable water bottle instead of plastic water bottles, or purchasing products with less packaging.
